Artist Statement
This quilt was constructed from scrap browns and cream fabrics. The design was inspired from "The Modern Medallion Workbook" book by Janice Zeller Ryan and Beth Vassealo. I had seen a brown postage stamp quilt and wanted to construct a brown and cream quilt. I added my own elements to make to fit the size that it completed. I Free motion quilted the quilt. I had not started the quilting with the elements in store.
