Artist Statement
It is with pleasure that I have been asked once again to submit a quilt to the HLSR Quilt Show for Grimes County. I really enjoy helping the youth of our County. They are our future and maybe someday one of them will take my spot and submit the quilts for HLSR. Quilting seems to be a dying art and it would be devastating if the youth did not continue this art. I plan to continue to encourage our youth as often as possible to learn how to quilt.
