Artist Statement
This quilt represents my family's love for a strong and free America. I am honored to belong to Daughters of the American Revolution, because from the early 1600's my ancestors worked hard to build, unify and fight for the freedom of this country. The eagle represents faith in God, and also the Chicasaw Indian Nation that I am descended from ad that I am a citizen.
