Artist Statement
The block pattern called Anita's Arrowhead intrigued me. After making one block I knew I had to make more and then an idea came to me about the layout for this quilt, I knew it needed to be on point. When the body of the quilt was complete I felt that it needed something else. I auditioned fabric for a border and the green won. A scalloped border seamed only fitting. And then of course the quilt needed bling.
