FFA Sunrise

FFA Sunrise, Machine Quilting
FFA Sunrise
I created an FFA Quilt using several different FFA material. I used yellow and blue coordinating material to create piano keys for a border. I cut out squares with the FFA crest to put in all 4 corners. Once it was all pieced together I quilted it using a long arm. Then to finish it off put the binding on.

Artist Statement
My name is Brenna Hill. I have been sewing since I was 5 years old. My grandmother, Momo, taught me how to quilt when I was in the 1st grade. Quilting is something that her and I have done together for the past 10 years. I was so excited when she bought a long arm. I watched over several years and played around on it. The past two years, I made it a mission to learn how to successfully use the long arm. This was the first quilt that I completed entirely by myself, from the piecing to quilting to the binding. Another one of my passions is FFA. I have become an active member or the Travis HS FFA. I am an officer and am currently raising three pigs to show. This quilt represents what I love, FFA and quilting.
