Artist Statement
This quilt, antique antique school's, was was a UFO for a couple of years and the pandemic gave me the opportunity to complete it. It is designed to go on my grandparents I on my grandparents iron steed bed that I inherited and have in my sewing/craft room upstairs. Most of the fabric came from my stash and reminds me of my growing up years in my grandparents home. It is not a complicated pattern but one that I easily finished once I settled to the task. I used all cotton fabrics and 80/20 batting to complete the quilt. I appreciate the opportunity to share with you.
